Singapore stop-over

For the first time in donkey’s years I’ve transited in Singapore and taken the time to stop for a couple of days. It’s been fantastic to meet old friends and to get used to warmer weather (doesn’t take a lot to do). I’ve been staying on Orchard Road, shopping paradise of the world. A bit of a waste on me though, I’m a bad shopper at the best of times. Under Orchard Road there are at least 2 levels of underground shops and there are walkways connecting the various department stores. Paradise or Dante’s inferno?

It’s been a treat to eat local food here, the real deal and not Western European white man asian food. (Eh, did not try this stall..)
