To run
.. for fun. This year the Stockholm midnight run attracted some 25,000 participants that made it around the 10k course. And yes, apart from (a few) steely eyed young males that ran with great seriousness, most seemed participate for fun.
It used to be
.. my morning after a rushed cup of coffee. Somehow I don’t miss this aspect of working life. What a surprise.
The margin
.. between the building and the hot air balloon was pretty narrow. From my vantage point I thought the balloon was going to crash into the building. Luckily it did not.
Reality and a rendition of reality
But then, is not perception of reality merely a rendition rather than absolute? In that sense, art and reality is not opposites but just different aspects of the same thing.

Artwork in Wanås sculpture and art park. Wanås is located in southern Sweden and the owners invite artists every year to add new artworks in the park. I love to visit when I have the opportunity.
Thursday door
Just another workshop door in a yesteryear house in the countryside. This building has aged with grace, something which the run of the mill modern workshop will not do. In my opinion. My contribution to Norm’s Thursday Doors.

For all the joys of Christmas, I yearn for long warm days to replace the short cold ones we have now. For you living in warm climates, it may be a mundane image, but for us up here in the north, it’s a dream that keeps us going through winter.
