To run

.. for fun. This year the Stockholm midnight run attracted some 25,000 participants that made it around the 10k course. And yes, apart from (a few) steely eyed young males that ran with great seriousness, most seemed participate for fun.

It used to be

.. my morning after a rushed cup of coffee. Somehow I don’t miss this aspect of working life. What a surprise.

The margin

.. between the building and the hot air balloon was pretty narrow. From my vantage point I thought the balloon was going to crash into the building. Luckily it did not.

Reality and a rendition of reality

But then, is not perception of reality merely a rendition rather than absolute?  In that sense, art and reality is not opposites but just different aspects of the same thing.

Sign of the times

Few don’t know that China is a power to recon with, both economically and militarily. Never the less I was somewhat surprised to see Chinese naval vessels visit Stockholm harbour, deep in the Baltic, half a world away from their home harbour.
