Transmogrify. Not really part of my day to day vocab. Perhaps it’s part of what we do at times? Take a wall, a pot plant, a projector, some colored gel, a spoon and a piece of clear plastic. Then change this reality into something new.

Reality and a rendition of reality
But then, is not perception of reality merely a rendition rather than absolute? In that sense, art and reality is not opposites but just different aspects of the same thing.
Lady in the rock
It looks like a stone bench of sorts, with a lady emerging from – or sinking into – the rock. Or she’s just resting? My take on this week’s WP challenge ‘curve‘.

Artwork in Wanås sculpture and art park. Wanås is located in southern Sweden and the owners invite artists every year to add new artworks in the park. I love to visit when I have the opportunity.
Victory
Jubilant Red Army soldier, liberating occupied Europe. I’ve got no doubt that the individual soldiers saw it this way after the horrendous suffering and sacrifice his people had gone through. How did the liberated peoples feel? Change from brown terror to red terror? I’m happy I did not have to live through these times. The statue stands in Memento Park, Budapest.
Thursday door
Just like many other photographers I’m drawn to doors from time to time. This door, and the installation in and under the window, is located in a barn that seemed disused or at least not used for its original purpose. For Norm’s Thursday Doors
