We used to take our 8th-grade classes to NYC for a class trip. The first thing they’d do is run around buying fake- Rolex watches, DVDs, and Oakley sunglasses! Then we’d watch the latest “DVD” on the way home.
It can indeed be fun to stock up on bootleg luxoury brands, but the novelty wears off pretty quickly. I lived in various parts of Asia 30 years ago and had great fun then with ‘luxoury’ brands. For a short while.

Fake luxoury is probably sold wherever copyright protection is low or non existant
