This weeks wordpress photo challenge, blur, made me primarily look for less than (technically) perfect images. Not that I retain many of those. Then I saw the light – it’s a perfect theme for my pinhole images since they’re always soft. So here we go, a fairly recent shot using a Holga WPC with Shanghai GP3 black and white film.
You saw the light – I get it!! Beautiful image.
Thank you, Tina
Freddy, very nice image and great use of low technology. Low in this case is a REAL plus.
Thanks, Tim. Our latest whizz-bang gear surely does help to capture nice images. It’s just pleasing to know that a rudimentary el-cheapo box and some planning can yield pretty pleasing images too.
Yes, I totally agree. I’ve a friend who is also into pinhole cameras. He explained them at a photo club meeting. It is something I’ll want to try.
You should, it’s a nice experience. For me, more thinking goes into each shot in comparison to digital photo. Which in turn seems to add value to my digital photography too.
Thanks When I get back to the US I’ll talk to my friend.
