Thanks, Emilio. I suppose it was more or less a fluke, the shot is from a restaurant taken on a very bright day. Outside there was a white (ish) shade cloth which gives a nice background and exposure was set for the bright outdoors. The lady was very underexposed and required little tweaking to come out as a silhouette. The wine glass is transparent and just came out well exposed. I’m pleased as punch that the image you see is more or less what came out of the camera – no photoshop wizardry required, just minimal lightroom processing.
