Winter reluctant to let go, spring hesitant to take over. Mercifully, winter is loosing out but not without struggle.

Very nice image! Great framing.
Thanks! I had but time for 2 shots before the light changed the mood of the scene totally. The images turned out as a sort of reward for carting a camera around on my walk.
There’s a solitude about this that really appealing. Lovely!
Thank you, I’m pleased that you like it
With a grey and cloudy sky like that, this is an absolute beauty
Thanks! It was fleeting moment and I almost lost it trying to frame it as I wanted. A few seconds later the scene changed dramatically as sunshine broke through the clouds

So simple but so lovely. Wonderful composition. Did you convert to B&W or was there just so little color in the sky? It’s beautiful
Thank you! No, there’s no conversion and very little post process, just some sharpening and a bit of highlight / shadow tweaking; the image is pretty much as I saw it.
Wonderful, just a visual poem. Congrats Fredrick!
Thank you for your kind words!
One of the best “reflections” photos I saw passing by this week. Lovely B&W. Greetz
Many thanks for your kind words! By the way, it’s not black and white even if it may look like it, it’s in as much color as the sensor could record, and I’ve not tweaked color at all. It was just that kind of day.
